How it works

  1. Add your PDFsDrop in two or more files. Each shows its page count and size.
  2. Set the orderDrag files into the order you want them to appear, and remove any you don’t need.
  3. Merge & downloadExport one combined PDF with every page in place.

Why merge with RedactLocal?

Combining PDFs usually means uploading them to a server — fine for a flyer, risky for contracts, statements, or records. RedactLocal merges them on your device by copying pages directly, so text stays selectable, vectors stay crisp, and nothing is transmitted or stored.

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDFs uploaded?

No. The files are merged locally in your browser and are never sent to RedactLocal.

Will text stay selectable?

Yes. Pages are copied as-is, so text, fonts, and vector graphics are preserved exactly. The tool does not rasterize anything.

What if a PDF is password-protected?

Encrypted PDFs can’t be read until the password is removed. The tool detects this and flags the specific file, rather than failing silently or crashing.

How many files can I merge?

As many as your device’s memory allows. Large sets simply take a little longer; there’s no arbitrary limit.
